Green Elephants Day
Happy Scheduled "obey that honor your parents thing "Day
...Actually we split it up so as to not force to much honor on you at once (there's one in June to)
I was looking through some old school papers not to long ago, when I was visiting my parents. My mother has a tendency of keeping things like that, though I wouldn't go strait to calling her a pack rat. She's good at getting rid of other things, its just the sentimental stuff like greeting cards and rat tails. (I for some reason was under the impressions at the age of 7 such things were cool)
I came across this math sheet with problems like 12+4=16 only the answer on the sheet was 26 because I added a one in front of the 4. Everything on the page was marked wrong even though the problems were technically correct.
Thats always the way I have been. I like saying thank you but I hate thank you notes. It's like what's the point what else is there to say? THANK YOU...(on the inside it reads) very much.
I am a big fan of romance but I despise valentines day, and not in that bitter cause I'm single and 9 of my guy friends are getting married this summer kind of way.
And so today was mothers day, and I spent the day with my mother. It was nice. I just couldn't help but be a little frustrated with the whole scheduled honor thing.
Honor should not be reserved for organized calendar days. It should be a regular occurrence, and as far as extra special treatment, which I'm all about, it should be like getting extra marsh mallows in your lucky charms...a magically delicious surprise.
It should be like, " happy Wednesday the 17th of February I got you flowers" (insert special persons' name here)!!!
But there I go painting and completely ignoring the numbers again. who likes a gray elephant anyway? They look much better in green.

you really crack me up. i love it when you write - it's been some time since i've been here. so you coming back home soon? not like you should because the room is in even worse shape (if you can really imagine that) than it was before you left.
We could communicate, except for the fact that I lost your number when my phone hit the junker...I'll be around again.
