A Man Who Will Stand In The GAP...

is what she said to me as we were discussing what a man of God looks like. I decided to take her words to heart so I got in the car, drove to the mall, and stood in the GAP for 2 1/2 hours.
No lauging revival, no passionate praise and worship, not even a bowl of Christ Chex, for communion. The only thing that was holy in that store was the pair of jeans I walked out with.

When I got home I looked in my Bible for an explanation and realized God is not looking for metrosexuals with impecible fasion taste ( although it doesn't hurt ) he is looking for intercessors and leaders in our generation. Men who will dance in the front of the church and raise their hands up hight, men who will seek the will of the Lord in decisions both great and small (including what jeans to buy), and men who will above all will seek a Christ like life at all cost. This is standing in the Gap, and this is why their sitll is one. Will you fill it?

I'm Still Here

It has been busy these last few days, moving into the new house, moving neighbours into theirs.
Today is the first day of class so far so good. More later.
