Shoot for the moon (part 2)
the worst thing that can happen is you miss and hit a star...
Ok the entire last post was an accident it's not what I intended to write about at all. Which on some level probably proves my point. Not that I can remember what my point was, so i'll have to develop a new point.
(Monday at the mall)
So this weekend was christmas weekend right? Three Holdiays in a row Christmas eve, DEC. 25th and Australian BOX day.
First of Christmas Eve alwas kind of confused me. I don't a birthdays eve. There is no pre-party party. New Years Eve I get, the new day starts at midnight we get the celebration done and overwith by 1 0r 2 am and we call it over. It's verry efficient.
But christmas eve. is this whole pre-holiday rigamaroo with Father Christmas impregnating Marry and Jesus and a manger and sheep and a reindeer and wise men bringing gifts on a slay with a red nose an a little boy who never gets any older and won't stop beating his drumb. And then the children sleep and Mice Stir, and morning comes.
And santas elves aparantly got sick of wooden trains so they made plastic gift cards...to the Gap.
So then we bow our heads and thank Jesus for what Santa brought us and the day is done. Except for the fact that its now some rediculously early hour of 8 o' clock kind or earlier and there entire day left to celibrate. To bad you spent so much time celebrating last night, now your faced with a decision you can either call in and ask for those holiday hours, spend time with the family, or go to church.
Unless your church is CFC at which point going to church on sunday, which Christmas is on Every 7 years or so is not an option. Heaven forbid we celebrate the birth of our savior in Church, what kind blaphemous herecy is that. We had a Christmas eve service with candles and drummer boys. and Darlene sang "Mary did you know?" I think mary knows! There is nothing left to celebrate, we had candles. Christmas on Sunday, what were th0se calendar makers thinking whats next. I say no chritian holidays on sunday any more. I hear easter falls on a sunday this year to, we should brobably just have an Easter's eve service instead, with candles.
But now the weekend has come and gone and its now Monday which aparantly a national holiday. Hurray for "return all the crap you don't like and use your gift card" day. Thank you to the U.S. gov. A day of full malls, frustrated shopers, and screaming children, it's a drunk guy in a santa suit and a midget (little person) away from being every other day this season. But there are great deals and the american express card just cycled over so your good to go.

yah seriously, how did I find myself at the mall yesterday, the day after christmas? OH yah, EXCHANGING FOR DIFFERENT SIZES---THAT THEY DIDN"T HAVE. And the mall was jam packed-craziness. I never experienced that in Potsdam cause we had no mall and we never liked anything in Masseena, so living down here is a new experience!! Aww, the mihm cookies are misssed, i'll tell my mom:) how are you doing?
Shopping is fun. I went to church on both the eve and the day. You can celebrate the eve of your birthday if you want to. I will continue to celebrate Christmas for three days in a row. Yesterday my perfect driving record was tainted...so I guess now we're even. I agree with not drugging kids (of course). You should have read Narnia a long time ago, Pal. The plot is no big secret. Okay then.
hey there mr.sarcasm. glad to see you're back in with the internet world. you're not going to start any debates this time, right? : )
